Free Printable Storage Labels

Keep your space organized with customizable labels. Find a solution for every storage problem with these simple, affordable tags and stickers in fun designs.
De-clutter and de-stress with these fun labels, which will help you organize your family's gear in every space of your home -- from the entry area, to the kitchen, the office, and kids' rooms. Fabulous labels that you can print and customize. We've shown several ways to use these labels, but they can be used anywhere and for everywhere you need a label.

These fun labels fit inside a standard clear luggage tag, which protects the paper label from wear and tear. Print the label and place it inside a luggage tag and loop around a basket handle. (We added a ribbon for a fun dose of style.)

The labels come in three colors -- blue, green, and orange. If you only want to print one color, be sure to select only that page in your print menu before you print.
-- Some of our labels are designed to fit on specific labels sizes. These blank label sheets are available at office supply stores, and they can be used on home printers. (Look for the Editor's Tips to find out what label sized you'll need.)
-- You can either type in the text you want, or handwrite it. If you want to type the text, click into the center of a label in the document and type your text.
-- We recommend printing the non-adhesive labels on heavy cardstock or matte photo paper, and then laminating them for extra durability. At-home laminating machines can be purchased at craft stores, or you can take your labels to a copy center to be laminated.

The front entryway is the ultimate drop-off spot. Keep it clear of clutter by storing fashionable shoe buckets in a painted bookshelf. Designate a bucket for each family member and label the containers with a hanging laminated nametag. Punch a hole in the top of the label and use snap rings (available at office supply stores) to hang from bucket handles.

Keep dog treats handy in a clear cookie jar. Print a label on heavy cardstock or matte photo paper and place inside a metal-rimmed tag (available at craft stores, in the scrapbooking department). Slip a pretty ribbon through a punched hole for an extra pop of color. And be sure to keep the jar out of Fido's reach.

Always know what key goes to what with these key ring labels. Print these labels on adhesive label sheets and adhere to round metal tags.

Here's a pantry that packs a punch. Keep food organized by assigning a shelf to each group (grains, baking ingredients, snacks, etc.). Line shelves with laminated fabric -- it's easy to clean and adds a splash of bright color. Use clear plastic containers to store your pantry goods and add an adhesive label to each container for an extra measure of organization.

Make life easier with clear, zippered bags perfect for grabbing on your way out the door. Pack one for each of your needs, such as kids' activities or a first aid kit, and stick on a cute adhesive label to keep things organized.

  1. Stow hard-to-find hats, mittens, gloves, and the like in wicker baskets placed in a wallpapered armoire. Designate one basket per person and place printed labels inside a clear luggage tag. Hang the tags from the basket handles and add a matching ribbon to complete the look.

Call out important dates or reminders on your calendar or planner with "don't forget" labels.

Avoid the what-to-wear fight in the morning with these helpful labels. Slip a day-of-the-week tag over a hanger with a complete outfit. Print the labels on heavy cardstock or matte photo paper (if desired, laminate for extra durability), and use a large hole punch to make a hole in the top of each tags.
